He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the corresponding department of the NTUA, his Master’s degree from the corresponding department of the Athens University of Applied Sciences and his degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the corresponding department of the AUTH.
He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia. He is scientifically responsible in European projects such as the cross-border projects Green Inter-e-mobility, nZECom, Interreg Europe FRIDGE, FINERPOL, SUPER and in many bilateral projects with HEDNO. He has been the scientific lead for bilateral projects of GSRI such as Greece-Turkey 2013-2014 – “smart electric energy management and buildings energy efficiency technologies project-SEEMBEET” and the PEP UoWM 2014-2020.
He has 20 years of experience as an electrical engineer and technical consultant for industrial and commercial consumers and has extensive administrative experience as (a) Vice President of thita (https://www.thita.gov.gr/en), (b) Member of the Board of Technical Works of the Municipality of Kozani, (c) Member of TEE . He is co-author of more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.
